Description:
Winchester Model 42 .410 bore pump shotgun. This is a very unique creation by master engraver Angelo Bee. The former Belgian Browning factory engraver has tastefully and elaborately embellished this magnificent 42 with gold inlaid quail on the left side of the receiver and gold inlaid dove on the right side complimented with a multi-color gold inlaid quail on the magazine tube extension and an engraved quail on the end of the mag cap. Then the receiver was finished and detailed with gold wire, fine scroll engraving and color case hardening. Very nicely grained walnut was selected for the stock and forearm and a Winchester “B” style carved checkering pattern was hand cut. 14 ¼” LOP, 1 ½” DAC & 2 3/8” DAH are the stock dimensions. The 26” barrel is fitted with a “Special” vent rib, front and mid beads and is factory choked “SKEET”. The gun weighs 6 lbs. 5 oz. Unfired since upgraded and it comes in a luggage style take-down case.
