Description:
This is a hand gun in holster carving done by a well known artist Vern Monroe. This is one of his very early pieces and is truly the old West. The wood is walnut and the frame came from a 100 yr. old barn. The fence post ,holster and belt are one piece of wood. Frame 12" X 33" Please see his resume and all his accomplishments in the enclosed pictures. Vern passed away on June 29th 2015 so there will not be anymore of his talented work. Vern was recently commissioned to carve a large crucifix for the Kansas City Church of Nativity before he passed.
This is a wonderful carving of the old West and I hope someone from Texas buys it for their home.
