Beautiful Hussey sidelock, "Imperial Ejector" top of the line; 28 inch finely sleeved and well struck barrels; reproofed in England 2 3/4 inch and 1 1/8 oz; very crisp, profuse and best British engraving; choked R .004, L.015. Very pretty wood, very comfortable diamond shaped grip; no chips, cracks, or repairs; period silvers pad and good dimensions- LOP 14 3/8, DAC 1 9/16, DAH 2 3/8, Cast off approx. 3/8". Weight 6' l0 oz. This piece is tight on face, with perfect bores, strong ejectors, great sidelock trigger pulls, excellent screws,and considered to be a "London Best" gun....great gun for the uplands or clays. Hussey's career was relatively short and controversial, but double gun experts agree that he produced some of the very finest ever "London Guns".
