J. STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO. FAVORITE MODEL 1915 .22LR LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Serial number "6XX". Rare 24" octagonal barrel. Mint bore and chambers. Tight lockup of lever with no extra play. Mint unturned screws. Original nickel front and rear iron sights minus the elevator(commonly missing and replaced). Original wood with original varnish. Original "Stevens Favorite" buttplate intact. Small sliver of wood missing from right side of forend(easy fix). Receiver with original color turned to patina and never cleaned. Barrel with 95% original blue overall and will clean better with traces of old dried grease. Verdigris buildup on front nickel sight is testament to original patina throughout.
