J. STEVENS & CO. No. 70 VISIBLE LOADING PUMP .22 RIFLE. Serial number "A476" on lower tang. Case hardened frame turning to plum patina. Frame screws been turned a few times.Right side screws replaced with knurled ends to facilitate use with hand instead of driver. 95% original blue on barrel and magazine tube. Original forend cracked down the middle longthwise with no losses so should simply glue to invisible. Original screw and brass finial for screw. Original buttstock with original hard rubber buttplate although chipped at toe along with small bit of wood. 22" round barrel. Perfect working order. Replaced magazine tube retaining pin at gnurled end is functional. Bore is very excellent with no pits.
