These guns have everything you could ask for in a dangerous game rifle. First of all they have the weight needed to help tame the recoil of these powerful guns, this one weighing 10 pounds 8 ounces. Next, it has controlled round feed so that you are sure when that Buffalo is coming the gun will eject properly and bring in that fresh solid round. Next it has Talley quick detach rings so after the first shot if there is tracking to be done you can quickly remove the scope and use the open sights for quick target acquisition in the brush. And finally you have the most important thing, accuracy. While the 375 H&H caliber seems to normally be an accurate round, this particular gun shoots as well as any rifle I've handled. Using Federal Premium factory ammo this gun will shoot surprising groups with either softs or solids. A few of the other nice features on this rifle are a solid quarter rib with one stand and two flip up sights, a barrel band for your sling, and three position safety. Top all of this off with just about the best piece of Circassian Walnut I've seen on one of these guns you you have a great rifle that you will be proud to own and shoot. Just add a scope of your choosing and you are ready for Africa or Alaska. This gun is all original right down to the recoil pad and the only thing that has been altered is the upgrade from Ruger rings to the Talley quick detach rings. Condition is excellent with only a couple of light handling marks. I've owned this gun for a number of years and it has been fired very little. Price of this rifle is $1450 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period on this gun with the buyer paying shipping charges it returned. Sorry no box or paperwork.
