GERMAN LOEWE GEWEHR 88 OR 1888 COMMISSION 8x57 RIFLE. Serial number "160". Receiver stamped "Loewe Berlin 1890" with an "S" over it. Receiver in the white correct. Regimental markings next to "GEW 88" on left says "74 L.R.10.2". Crown proofs on right. Slot cut for stripper clip feed. Barrel with old arsenal re-blue and excellent condition with no dings. Rear sight with Turkish graduations. Sling swivels with slight bit of corrosion but still blue. Small repair along forend. Original cleaning rod. Bore mint. Crisp trigger pull and bolt lock-up. Perfect working order and shoots like it should and very accurate. Hard to find these anymore.
