Very good vintage pre-safety Marlin model 30W in .35REM. caliber., and the JM barrel proof.The 20" barrel has an excellent, clean shiny, rifled bore. Very clean plain black walnut wood, with a couple of handling dings, nothing serious.. Barrel has about brown and may have been refinished at one time and cleaned up with steel wool. This sturdy rifle looks like a truck gun,, and frame has coloring turning to brown . Has sling swivels installed, with a green fabric sling.. Serial number: G48883. Has a top mounted scope Bushnell Sportview with crisp optics, and see through ring mounts. a tough gun with many years left in it's life!
