Graham & Co, Inverness Scotland, Year Pre 1898, 12 Gauge, 6lbs 9oz, Side by Side Serial Number: 78361 This is an Inverness Scotland fine, lightweight gun that is an antique, made before 1898. It comes in a compact, tapered little makers case that is in decent condition. The gun itself is in excellent condition, especially for being over 117 years old! Scottish made guns are noted for their fine handling characteristics and excellent engraving, and this gun demonstrates that well. Weighing 6lbs. 9oz. and balanced just a touch in front of the hinge pin, it is a delightful gun to shoulder and swing. The barrels are still soundly in proof, with clean shiny bores factory choked CYL/F and 30 thousand wall thickness right barrel and 29 thou left. With excellent mechanics this gun has lots of upland game and clay target shoots left in her. Priced very affordably, you can own a classic ejector 12 bore without breaking the bank, and it is a gun to be proud of and pass on down to the next generation. The shooting dimensions are great for the modern shooter. Keep in mind we have 2 gunsmiths on staff to make timely alterations to suit your needs, including stock bending, restoration, or even adding a leather covered pad to class this old gal up a bit.
