L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE 12GA. SIDE BY SIDE 28" SHOTGUN. Serial number "1777XX". Missing middle section of top rib(obviously taken for restoration of other L.C. Smith). With "L.C. Smith Field Grade" on top of right barrel and "Hunter Arms Co. & address" on left. Mint bore and chambers. Very tight lockup and on face. Double triggers. Lots of original case colors on frame. Original buttstock and forend with factory checkering and some finish loss at underside of buttstock form period of use. Wood is excellent with no losses or cracks. 14 3/4" length of pull over old hardened "Blue Line" vent pad. Original blue on barrels at 85% with no dings. Great price for a fixer upper. Perfect working order.
