Personal Check with hold Description: This is a very hard to find ,Savage 1899-F ,Saddle Ring Carbine, in "Rare" .32-40 Winchester caliber. Especially in this condition! Has a 20" barrel with an excellent bore. Has the Special, "LYMAN" Ivory Bead Hunting front sight. Has the Savage No. 21 Micrometer, rear dovetail sight.. Serial Number #132473, Manufactured in 1913. All numbered parts match! Has it's Original Savage, SRC ,Saddle ring. Has the "Brass" Rotor/Counter. Metal is all Blue to brown Patina and has no extra holes,in it! Lever has traces of Case Color remaining. Wood is solid with no extra holes! Has small 1" tight crack at tang and few light handling marks. Wood has some original varnish finsh remaining. Has Carbine Style buttplate. Has the "pin" Top Tang, Cocking indicator. Tang, factory drilled and tapped, for tang sight. This will make a fine addition to any collection!
