SOLD Pending Funds / Savage No. 4 Mk.1* Bolt Action Rifle, serial # 92 C 0097 matching, cal. 303 British, with a 25" barrel and a very good bore. The rifle retains 97%+ original military finish. This is a U.S. PROPERTY stamped Savage Rifle made for the Brits during WW II. The receiver has a flaming bomb proof, the stock behind trigger guard stamped "S" in circle, Mag. follower has boxed "S" stamped on it, "S" stamped on for end behind front band. The wood is very good but there's a stress crack in the right lower butt stock but nothing alarming. The overall condition is very good plus. Inv.: # 2-1703
