Well used and working old cowboy gun in .38-40 cal, black powder cartridge. .Action is working,but has a hair trigger like old cowboy guns, comes with aged smooth walnut grips with patina, and wear, no serious damage.Finish is smooth grey medal,with patches of brown patina, and some original nickle plating, not bad for an old gun. This is a real cowboy gun from the southwest, not a toy. No other markings on the gun, except on the left lower frame are the patent dates stacked like the Colt single action revolver.. Looks like a cowboy gun made in Spain before the turn of the century for use in Mexico or the Southwest! !Barrel is 4 1/2", and has very good rifling, and couple areas surface corrosion but not pitted.This gun is the size full size SAA revolver! Doesn't look like it would be safe to shoot. Check my inventory for unusual guns and parts.
