Description:
.44 Thuer cartridge, 8" round barrel with loading lever located underneath.  Six shot cylinder with the Thuer device located at the rear.  Casehardened frame, silver plated brass triggerguard, the butt and back straps blued.  Varnished walnut grip.  A very nicely conditioned example with the barrel retaining considerable original high polish blue, the remainder graying.  The cylinder showing mostly gray with crisp scene.  The frame retains nearly all of it's casehardened finish, while the back strap has bright blue in the protected areas.   The majority of the silver remains on the triggerguard and front strap.  All numbers matching.  Mechanically excellent.  Sold through the London Agency.  Very rare.
