Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer ..38 Auto. I have 2 high condition Pocket Hammers with the early high polish finish.
These Colts are very seldom found in this condition. This finish was very fragile and the majority of examples with this finish
are in poor conditrion. The 2 i have are 90 and 95+% with no ugly wear. It is nearly impossible to get quality photos of this finish
and requires more photograpy skills than i have. The 90% gun has honest wear only on the front and back straps and it has turned a pleasing plum patina. The slide and frame are quite minty and there are traces of case color on the hammer. Beautiful gun! The 95% gun has minior handling marks with minimal wear on the front and back straps. Strong case color on the hammer. The condition of the guns aside from the front and back strap of the one pistol is near identical so i used pictures of both guns to get 10 + photos.
