Description:
Very Rare Colt Factory Engraved 1861 Navy. There were 38,000 1861 Navy revolvers made Its speculated that only around 1000 were factory engraved. This is in the 18,000 serial range 1864. Probably was a military presentation piece after the war. No inscription on it though. Action strong and lockup solid. Traces of scene. This piece definitely saw some use and is no cherry. If you need to fill a slot in a collection but don't have between $15000-25000 for a nice one
