NIB, Colt US Cavalry Commemorative set marking the 200th anniversary of the US Cavalry 1777-1977 consisting of two pistols and accoutrements. One pistol is serial No. 1922US, the other US1922. This set includes (2) Model 1860 Army Revolvers; both pistols are 44 cap & ball. These guns are beautiful: color case hardened receivers and bullet rammers. The trigger guards are brass. The barrels, cylinders and backstraps are blue. Cylinder is roll engraved with a Naval engagement scene, saying engaged 16 May 1843, w/ Colt's patent numbers. The unturned cylinders are unfluted, 8 inch barrels read “United States Cavalry Commemorative”. Has “MJH” cartouche on the black walnut grips.
