Very nice Burnside Carbine. It has a 21" barrel that has an excellent bore. It is a .54 caliber carbine that has a stock and forend that are in very good condition. It has the correct cartouches and inspector's marks. The bluing on the metals will rate 90% and the case colors are approximately 50%. Weight of this carbine is 7 1/2 lbs. and overall length is 39". This gun is all original. Very difficult to fine a Burside rifle in this condition and would be a great addition to any civil war collection.
