Walther P.38 9mm caliber pistol. HP Model Late Production marked Model P.38. This pistol shows the combination finish found in late HP Walthers and blue and purple colors. There is a casting flaw at the bottom of the grip strap. We have seen the blue and purple finish and casting flaws on late HP pistols many times and it typifies the Late Production and exigency to produce arms quickly to satisfy the need. Gun has 98-99% correct finish. These Late HP (Mod P-38) ended at serial 25990. Excellent to near mint condition.
