Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique 1900 -1918th GERMAN sniper rifle scope Gnomet D.R.P. Oigee/Berlin 2.5 X magnification, first model with Akah mount to install on dovetail rail or groove 11-12 mm . Elevation adjustment work excellent, centering or windage(lateral adjustment you can do with screws on both sides rear part of the mount.Has the universal focus. Lenses have clear View(but I recommend to clean lenses inside to have a more sharp view).Bluing on a scope in good condition.Very rare scope. Was used on Mauser Military training rifle. Magnification 2.5 X Reticle Sharp Single Picket Post. Field of view 10.7 feet at 100 yard Luminosity 25 Tube diameter 22 mm Length 235 mm Weight 5.8 ounces or 164 gram Company Oigee from Berlin produced sporting and target rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting and target rifles.With the onset of the war, Oigee/Berlin scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adopted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles and Military training rifles. All Oigee/ Berlin scopes are scarce in the USA.
