Rare!!! 1900 -1918th GERMAN sniper rifle scope Gnomet D.R.P. Oigee/Berlin 2.5 X magnification, second model with original German mount to fit German,Czech and other small caliber(.22) military and sporting rifles that have grooves 11 mm . Elevation adjustment was changed to Karl Kaps(from 1970) elevation adjustment together with reticle, because was broken, work excellent.Has universal focus. Lenses have clear View(but I recommend to clean lenses inside to have more sharp view).Bluing on scope in good condition.Very rare scope. Was used on Mauser Military training rifle. Magnification 2.5 X Reticle German # 1. Field of view 10.7 feet at 100 yard Luminosity 25 Tube diameter 22 mm Length 230 mm or 9 inches Weight 5.6 ounces or 160 gram Company Oigee from Berlin produced sporting and target rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting and target rifles.With the onset of the war, Oigee/Berlin scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles and Military training rifles.
