EXCELLENT WW1 WINCHESTER U.S. MODEL 1917 RIFLE DATED 6-18. .30-06 caliber with barrel stamped behind the front sight “W/ORDNANCE BOMB/6-18”. All original, matching and complete. One of the nicest Winchester Model 1917’s we have had with 99% of the original Winchester WW1 dark green-grey military finish. Matching walnut stock and handguard of better than Springfield quality which was typical of Winchester Model 1917’s. Stock stamped with the “EAGLE HEAD” ordnance proof seen on Winchester 1917’s. Excellent, bright bore with crisp rifling.
