Description:
Rem-Jet This is a very rare Smith & Wesson being a four screw version. The four screw variation was only available in 1961, which was the first year of production. There was and will be some continuos confusion on this particular model. It has the barrel caliber marking simply stating 22 magnum. In reality, with cylinder inserts this is the 22 center fire. The center fire 22 Remington Jet caliber. The cylinder is replaceable, with a 22 long rifle cylinder. This particular gun comes with both cylinders and all 6 inserts and also the origin factory box. Not often seen all together. This gun has a 6" bbl with target trigger and hammer. This gun has seen little use with very little wear to the finish on the gun. There is a very light drag line on the cylinder. Beautiful deep dark grips with one very light chip. Pretty scarce S&W that would be a great addition to any revolver collection. We have lots of Remington "Jet" Mag ammo available for this too!
