2nd Year of production. COLT New Line .22 Revolver - First Model - Cal. .22 - 2 1/4" Bbl. - 7-shot - SN 8779 (1874). nickel finish, Rosewood grips. This gun is in overall good condition showing approx. 85% original factory nickel finish, excellent bore, positive action, sharp markings (COLT'S PT. F.A.MFG.CO.) (HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.) on the top of the barrel and (22 CAL) on the frame. Beautifully rosewood period factory grip . This is the early and quite scarce 1st Model New Line with short cylinder flutes and no barrel etching,
