Description:
Winchester M-1 Carbine, 30carbine 18”barrel – Rare variation of a M1 Carbine made by Winchester using an AW coded Underwood receiver. The “ U” is still legible where the Underwood was scrubbed and Winchester was role marked above the scrub line. The Rifle has all original parts and the ordnance wheel marked Winchester stock has a W on the base of the grip and in the sling cut out. The rifle is a type 3 design with a bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. Rifle has bright bore and rifling.
