SOLD /// Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Bolt Action Carbine, manufactured NAGOYA, (series 4) serial # 68202, cal. 6.5 Arisaka, 19" barrel with an excellent bore. This non-import marked Arisaka shows metal surfaces which retain about 85-87% of a possible touched up blue finish with light scattered surface oxidation and a bit of silvering at the muzzle. The receiver mum has been removed and a slight concaved brownish gun metal area remains. The wood surfaces rate about near excellent and exhibit light scattered dings and impact marks which certainly enhance this carbine's genuine appearance. The smooth steel cupped buttplate is now a dark freckled brown, triggerguard tang and magazine floorplate are in similar condition. Rifle is equipped with a rear ladder and front sight, front and rear side mounted sling swivels and bayonet lug. The overall condition as described and photographed is good plus plus – very good.
