Description:
For your viewing is what I believe is a European butt plate that has a trapdoor and was used on some form of a muzzle loader rifle. Along with this part also is the two side plates and the wedge bolt that would hold a barrel into it's stock. Also is what I believe is some form of a tang peep sight that was inletted into the stock on top of the wrist. I acquired these parts from a old out of business gun shop years ago, and find that I will not use them in the future.
