Beretta 687 Gold 20 gauge O/U shotgun. This model was made and imported on in 1988/89 so there is not a lot of these to be found. It was a distinctive upgrade to the Onyx that was a fairly unadorned gun. The “Gold” features a much higher quality of wood and wood finish as well as it has two “real” hand engraved gold inlays; a pheasant on the left side of the receiver and a mallard on the right. This gun has 26” vent rib barrels with factory choke tubes and chambered for 2 ¾” and 3” shells. The metal finish on the receiver is deep rich blue that appears black and the barrels are tradition deep blue. Overall the gun retains 98% original finishes with just some very small handling marks. The dark and highly figured buttstock has a 14 5/8” LOP over factory pad, 1 ½” DAC and 2 ¼” DAH with a slight left hand cast. (My gunsmith with "bend" the stock for right hand shooter upon request...no charge)
