This Underwood carbine is the last production run for the company. Made between March 1944 to April 1944. Barrel date is 3-44. The serial number is 6118183. This carbine is all correct Underwood for this production block. Has the correct stamped trigger housing and front sight. The stock is GHD-UEF coded. The forend is also correctly coded. The stock shows service use. There is no cracks or splits. The bore is bright and clean. The bolt is the correct blued round bolt. The magazine is Underwood coded. This is a nice late Underwood that would look good in any carbine collection. Search for Harry Viezens on google.
