Description:
This is a Colt 1851 Navy 3rd Model pistol in .36 caliber. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1856. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are all rough with heavy patina and pitting evident. The brass grip frame is Good, and the grips show some gouges and the initials TA carved in the left side. The bore is pitted with visible rifling.
