Excellent Russian Military Makarov arsenal reworked, dated 1963, with correct magazine. SN: KN 3539. Cal. 9mm Mak. Standard configuration Makarov with fixed front and drift adjustable rear sight. Full serial number on left side of slide that is repeated on the safety and left frame adjacent to the Tula Arsenal symbol and the year 1963. Import marking on right frame. Usual reddish brown phenolic grips impressed with encircled 5 pointed star on each side. Lanyard ring. Correct magazine with electropenciled “0872-2” crossed out, replaced with “3553-1” on spine. Condition: Approximately 99% salt blue. Comparable or better condition grips. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A really nice and early Makarov, hard to find with an early date. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
