SOLD /// U.S. Springfield Armory M-1 Garand Semi Auto Rifle, serial # 856233, cal. 30-06, with 24" barrel and a good bore, TE gages 3, SA barrel marked S-A-9-42, receiver # D 28291-17, bolt is # D 29287-12 SA, trigger housing # D 28290-7-SA, hammer # C 46008-3 SA, safety C 46015-9SA, op rod # D35382 3 SA (uncut), rifle appears correct. The metal is parkerized with 95% remaining and showing wear at high points only, the stock is cartouched S.A./GHS with Ordnance proof on the left side and is P proofed in a circle in the pistol grip, wood has a few minor nicks nothing alarming, the rifle is in Collectors Grade Condition.
