RARE SMITH AND WESSON “JAPANESE CONTRACT” NO. 2 “OLD ARMY” REVOLVER. .32 rimfire with 6” barrel. Serial numbered in the 59,xxx range and all matching and in fine condition with most of the original blue and case hardening. Fine rosewood grips inscribed on the butt “Joan”. Right side of frame stamped with a Japanese acceptance stamp. This is the first revolver Japan contracted to S&W and is a true rarity. Circa 1867. 100% original.
