Description:
Russian SVT-40, chambered in 7.62X54R and was manufactured in 1943 at the Tula Arsenal. Features include a early “shark” style flash suppressor, adjustable gas system, Avt 40 stock, tight forend wood, plum bolt, re-arsenal force matched parts. These rifle were a favorite capture weapon of the German army, so much so that they printed up operation manuals in German during the war. The SVT 40 was part of the ban during the Clinton administration. This rifle is in very good condition and will make a fine addition to any collection.
