#3785 Broom Handle C 96 Mauser With Matching Stock, Antique
This is a large ring hammer pre 1899 antique C 96 Broom Handle Mauser pistol with matching wood stock. It is serial number 14906 and the numbers are all matching including the stock. I think it was manufactured between September and October 1898. This was a transition change for the C 96 and so there are few large ring hammer antique Broom Handle Mauser pistols made. The grips are 23 grooves. It retains 80% original blue and only missing blue on the high points of the frame. The bore is good plus with fine corrosion from the corrosive priming. Wood stock is matching numbers. The leather stock harness has a replaced snap strap and belt loops. Antique C 96 Mauser pistols all matching with matching wood stock are very hard to find. Antique large ring hammer C 96 pistols are RARE. Also this will come with one unopened original box of two 10 round D.W.M. Mauser 7.63 cartridges on the original stripper clips.
