Description:
This is a Colt 1849 Pocket Model pistol in .31 Caliber. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1864. Finish is Patina. There is a crack in the frame inside the hammer slot. There is light pitting on the frame and hammer and heavier pitting on the barrel and cylinder. The bore is pitted with visible rifling. The grip frame is in Good shape. The grips have a crack on the left side near the frame.
