Description:
Serial #37737, .455 Webley, 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This handsome revolver has retained 95% plus of the original brushed blue finish with minor areas of silvering on a few of the high edges and projections, as well as at the muzzle. The revolver has crisp Australian and WD military markings while the checkered brown hard rubber grips are in fine shape with only some very minor flattening of the points as well as a few minor scratches and handling blemishes. The lock-up is still tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. The frame was relieved in several spots on either side to expose the action and its workings, however the cylinder and barrel were left alone so the revolver is still serviceable.
