London: A Westley Richards 318 Accelerated Express Bolt Rifle on a Mauser Action that was made about 1937 or 1938 by Westley, 26" barrel with a band island express sight with 1 standing & 4 folding sights, Westley's band front ramp with a night sight & a spring actuated sight protector, Birmingham proved at 37 Cordite & 250 grain bullet max, Sling eye on the barrel, Barrel lug with a forend tiedown, Steel crossbolt inside at the recoil lug, Hinged floorplate with a lever release, A modern fully adjustable trigger, An aftermarket somewhat Stith style custom scope mount, Noske scope with a post reticle, 8 lbs. 14 oz., Sporter stock, Wrap around point pattern checkering, Horn forend tip, Screw grip cap with a spare front sight, No cheekpiece, 14 1/8" LOP over a 7/8" Silvers pad plus a 9/16" extension, The piece was reblued a long time ago and now at 95%, The stock was oiled as well and is at 88-90%, The checkering remains at 95%, The bore is very good.
