Payment Types Accepted: Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, Personal Checks Description: Spencer Model 1860 repeating carbine, civil war range serial number 29XXX, .50 caliber, 7 shot magazine fed, 22” round barrel with saddle ring, military ladder rear sight. Features standard markings with Spencer address & Patent date on top of barrel. This Spencer is one of 11,000 that were altered by Springfield Armory after Civil War. These features included the Stabler cutoff forward of the trigger allowing for use of single shot. Markings are crisp throughout including military inspector stamp, the TJS inspector cartouche is still visible on left side of stock. Metal surfaces are a pleasing grey, brown & silver patina with sharp legends. The original walnut stocks are in very good condition with no cracks, some usual minor abrasions.
