Description:
The 54 was a great rifle in it's own right. Not to mention that it spawned the tremendously popular Winchester model 70. Caliber is 30-06. 24" bbl. good looking gun with most bbl blue remaining. Light wear in a few spots on the finish, but pretty much all there. Front blade appears to be slightly modified. Several sight options on these 54's. Rear sight may or may not be as it came from the factory. There is a couple of dings on the sight base. This rifle has a very nice bore. Beautiful, bright and shiny. Stock is in very nice overall condition with no visible cracks or losses of wood. Real satiny finish, likely hand rubbed oil on it sometime. Also there has been a set of sling swivels added.
