Description:
Rare and very early Winchester model 1873. Manufatured in 1874. All original, and 100% correct. Has the very rare reversed rear sight (only seen on the first 1,200 or so 1873's), as well as the raised thumbprint dust cover (only seen on the first 2,500 or so 1873's). Set trigger, 24" full octagon, full magazine. Letters with a "2-1/2" target" group. All original patina with no evidence of over cleaning. Wood to metal fit is very good. Bore is good with even frosty pitting with defined rifling. 3-day retun policy. No FFL required.
