Description:
Colt Single Action Army Early 3rd Generation in .44 Special, SA22XXX manufactured 1979. Features 4 ¾” bbl., with blue finish & color casehardened frame, fitted with black checkered eagle grips. According to Don Wilkerson’s book, “The Post-War Colt Single-Action Army 1976-1986”, the production for this model was 1599 in 1979 with a total of production of 2630. The back of the hammer spur has a couple of scratches on it, otherwise as new condition with no visible drag lines on cylinder. Comes with Colt woodgrain box with matching label numbered to the revolver without papers. Box is worn with torn end flap.
