Description:
This revolver HAS been handled and enjoyed, but there is NO evidence we can find ever having fired a cartridge. The cylinder face is nice and clean with unblemished blue, as is the recoil shield (breech face) and the forcing cone is bright with no carbon deposits. Note: there IS a faint turn ring on the cylinder and a "mystery scratch" RH side back of the barrel (see the close-up shot) and a tiny rub mark on the loading gate. RH grip panel has a horizontal crack at screw hole level. Nice that the original factory matching serial number grips are included! Gold is less than brilliantly perfectly on the backstrap and sharp edges. Its simply a beautifully preserved revolver, especially for its age, and, a bargain for a 2nd Gen Colt! 45LC Ser#2577AM
