Description:
This is a Marlin 1893 rifle in .32-20 with a serial number from 1894. The 26 inch octagon barrel has a bright and shiny bore with strong rifling and no visible pitting. The finish is Good patina with traces of blue. The action and lever show Good patina with traces of case coloring still present. The action is tight. The magazine tube, fore end cap, and crescent butt plate have Good patina. The walnut pistol grip stock is Good with handling marks and nicks visible but some finish left on the butt stock. The checkering on the pistol grip and fore end is flattened. The wood does not appear to have been sanded.
