- Note: This is a custom, sporterized, J.P. Sauer 98 Mauser with custom barrel in caliber .338 Federal. The 24" barrel is topped with a custom recessed target crown. The bolt has been modified for low swing safety and bolt handle for scope clearance. Custom trigger has been installed. The receiver has been drilled and tapped and mounted with a Burris 3x-9x scope on 1" Leupold rings and bases. The stock is a Ramline synthetic stock. The receiver is also drilled and tapped for a peep sight should you desire. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. The barrel is basically brand new.
