- Note: This is one of approximately 14,000 revolvers produced by Husqvarna between 1887 and 1907, based on the System Nagant and accepted for officers of the Swedish armed forces. The locking mechanism was a variation of the Galand Construction from 1870 which raises the hammer to a safe rebound position from the cartridge. These revolvers were produced by Nagant and Liege and by Husqvarna. This particular revolver is in high condition retaining all but a few percentage points of original blue and straw colors on the trigger, hammer, loading gate, and base pin. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. Serial number range is 11,xxx and the regimental markings are "L No 2856" over an "A".
