Description:
Selling for a friend an antique Marlin 1895 deluxe rifle in 45/90 caliber. Rifle is in fine condition. Barrel is 24" half octagon retaining 95% original dull blue. Bore is good, brite but with scattered pitting. Action is silver grey with brown freckles, no pitting. Pistol grip wood is checkered and solid. There is a solid crack repair on the right side just behind the trigger, see picture. The buttplate is chipped at the toe with some wood wear at the toe. Action functions smoothly and crisply. Front sight is Lyman ivory bead, rear is three leaf express. Rifle will letter. Antique, no FFL needed to ship. Shipping $65 insured.
