Excellent, early, 12b double Richaed Ellis, quite obviously a Westley Richards "for the trade" piece as described in the '"Double Gun Journal", Wnter 2015, article on Pg 61. Built on a classic scroll engraved, A&D action, patent use number 608, with much original case color & retaining VG bright original blue on the floor plate, TG, and the classic WR top lever. 30" Damascus barrels bright bores with light pitting, originally 2 1/2" chambers lengthened to 2 3/4", retaining excellent damascus finish & pattern, ivory bead and BP proof. Excellent 1/2 PG / Spl wood with nice figure and color, LOP 14 1/8" to an original horn buttplate with vacant gold shield . Choked Full / Full, DAC 1 7/8, DAH 3", Wgt 7lbs. 4oz.
