Late Colt Officers Model Match with 6” barrel, Elliason rear sight, checkered beavertail hammer, and target grips. Cal .22 LR. SN: 80259, Inv: I-12. Standard configuration Officers Model Match whose model and caliber designations appear on the left side of the barrel. Colt single line address on the right side of the barrel. Rampant Colt on the left sideplate. Previous import into Germany reflected by the tiny Eagle/N proofs on the left side of the barrel, left side of the frame and over one of the cylinders. “BRIGANT” has been lightly marked on the sideplate, likely the distributor or retailer. Checkered walnut grips with Colt logo escutcheons. Condition: approximately 98-99% original blue with slight muzzle wear, fine cylinder ring, and slight thinning of the serrated backstrap. Comparable condition grips. Each of the cylinders locks fully into place when trigger is pulled. Mirror bore. Overall, an excellent and classic .22 LR target revolver with an interesting history as reflected by the German proofing. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
