Description:
Per Cody this gun was finished in 1957 as a Field Grade with 28 barrles that were choked M&F.It was a standard configuration that is until at some pont a prior owner sent the gun to Neil Hartliep who added the custom engraving and the gold dogs & bird.Neil was a professional engraver by trade and helped to launch the NRA's summer gunsmithing program at Trinidad,CO where he taught classes until 1983 and then took on the same task for the NRA at the Rochester Institue of Technology.Then at some point a prior owner sent the gun to Briley and had thin wall flush mount tubes installed.Blueing remains in near perfect condition.Wood finish is excellent with 1 small ding in left side of butt stock as can be seen in pictures.Stock has a Winchester rubber recoil pad.Over all the gun is in great shape and is a beautiful piece ready for the field or clays course.$40 shipping to your FFL.
